Sunday, March 22, 2009Just finished a BUSY week of BIG events. With some luck, bigger and better is on the way. Maybe even leaving the day job. :) We'll see.

Testing, Testing, One...Two...
Still Not at Full SpeedCannot get my old computer's modem to talk to the ethernet controller and therefore...cannot get online with the thing. Still using my partner's computer and having some success getting some things done. Everything else on my computer works GREAT since the Windows reinstall. I just seem to be missing some very important driver or something. Something so important that even installing a new PC ethernet card cannot make it possible for me to get online with it at all. Have a few other tricks up the sleeve before relegating the old tower to s simple office machine, but I miss my own computer. Would love to chat about other things, but I have to get back to work on the things that don't work at all around here.
Friday, March 06, 2009Dear RushFor the record, Democrats did NOT want George W. Bush to fail. We wanted him to lose (the election). Having that option taken away from us we HOPED he wouldn't fail. We knew he would fail US as well as the U.S. if given the chance. We HOPED he would do better. We hoped in vain and he did NOT do better than expected. A fundamental difference between "us" (Democrats) and "them" (Republicans who listen to YOU and cannot come up with something other than "ditto" when they are "speaking their minds" - certainly not all Republicans, mind you) is that we all understand that there is an entire nation of people (not just your listeners) who need help in far too many ways thanks to the guy we'd all hoped would do better than expected and didn't. If using a Star Trek quote won't sully this point too much, let me make it perfectly clear. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one. WE THE PEOPLE never wanted George W. Bush to fail. We all wanted what was best for all of us. YOU want Barack Obama to fail because YOUR lifestyle may be affected and others you don't like may need the help more than you need another cigar, Twinkie, or dose of Oxycontin. So please, Rush...Stop pretending you're qualified to do anything other than host a talk show. If you really want to put your money where your mouth is, why not leave your successful radio show and run for an elected office. Then we'll all know just how "right" you really are. until then I say, respectfully...
