First Time Out with the New Show Tomorrow

Heading to Oakland, CA for the first performance of the new act I can't tell you much about. Should be cool. I'll keep you posted.

By the way, if you're reading this then I was not in the North Las Vegas home that had a plane crash into it on Friday. Thanks for all the e-mails and calls wondering if we were alright. Many sympathies to the folks who lost loved ones in the crash in my home town. Awful news.

For Dad

Here's a scan of a lovely story written by one of my father's former students and children's book author, Sally Dutra. This appears in the pages of Teachers with Class, a book devoted to people sharing tales of inspirational and memorable teachers who influenced their lives.

This being the 15th anniversary of my dad's death I found it more than appropriate. Here's hoping Sally drops me an e-mail one day. I'd love to meet her or thank her for the kind words about my dad.
