You might want to try "AVAST" security software - superior both in price (FREE!) and in updates, coverage, etc., to all the pay security I've found.
If it's a particular named virus, and security suites can't remove it, search and see if there's a removal tool for the virus out there.
You'll qualify for the loan soon enough - once your income-to-debt ratio goes down, your FICO should get up to 700 and make you some lucky mortgage broker's NEW BEST FRIEND.
