Nobody Can Say April & I Don't Know How To Have Fun!
This is just a links list of the many places we went to visit in Springfield, Illinois this Tuesday & Wednesday. Keep in mind that we left early in the morning on Tuesday and returned by 9:30 PM on Wednesday. I'll try to post these in order.

Henson Robinson Zoo
Museum of Funeral Customs
Oak Ridge Cemetery (War Memorials & Lincoln's Tomb)
Illinois State Museum
Dinner at Saputo's
Wednesday
Lincoln Home
Old State Capitol Building
Lots of shopping including Pease's
Lunch at Norb Andy's for Horseshoes
Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum (We really only saw the museum)
I'm sure I'm forgetting something. When I have photos I'll surely share more.

Funny thing about Lincoln...
So, the "Lincoln Center" of the community college thing has a display of who else - Abraham Lincoln in it. This display includues a semi-inspirational list of his failures and sucsesses. Among these was "he failed a second time at running a buisness BUT was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1946."
Was there any mention of them opening up his tomb for his term in the house?
Perhaps Iowa might not be the best place to get an edjumacation.
