Still Cold. More Photos.

It really isn't that cold around here, but it is cold enough to warrant me adding, as promised, more photos from warmer days here in Illinois. Last time I gave you mastodons. This time I give you, from the same place, the Sunken Garden of Phillips Park.

What's a sunken garden? Picture a rather ornate garden planted inside Soldier Field at field level. They adorn many a wealthy man's home and you seem to see them in just about any classic film featuring a millionaire and a hot lady smoking a cigarette. I suppose it would be better if I just showed you what I'm talking about.

MMMmmm...Sunken Garden!

See? A sunken garden.

Is that a stature in your garden or are you happy to see me?OK, this is not as massive as some of the places where we've seen Robin Leach wandering about, but it is rather beautiful and well-maintained. If nothing else it is another beautiful little distraction found within the Phillips Park in Aurora.

I'm not much of a garden nut and I know relatively nothing about horticulture, but I do know when I'm surrounded by beauty. Like when I'm at the strip club and I have boobs on all sides of my head. I just know. This was one of those times when I just knew I was around pretty things.

Very relaxing inside the garden and if you had the pleasure of checking out the place before or after the mastodon bones you feel a little more happy for the experience.

I'm hoping to check out the bones, the zoo, and the sunken garden again next year. Maybe I'll get there a little earlier in the year so I can see more things in bloom.

Statues, fountains, flowers...am I turning gay?

In Florida we call sunken gardens sink holes. They are seldom as pretty as what you're showing us.

Sink holes, eh? Doesn't sound as classy as sunken garden.

Jade, I'll see if I have any other pics that are pretty enough and send them to ya via e-mail. And those boudoir photos you keep BEGGING me for are one the way as well. Still waiting on the nudie pics of you that you promised me.
